2015 Bucket List……

We have now finished the first week of the new year and it has given me time to think about what I want to get out of this year for myself. I thought of making resolutions as soon as the clock struck 12 on New Years Eve but I knew that within a week or so I would have reverted back to my old ways and not stuck to any of them. Instead I decided to give myself some time to think about it so I can get better prepared and achieve everything I want to this year. So instead of making resolutions that I know I probably won’t stick to I have decided to make a 2015 Bucket List.

This Bucket List will be filled with things I hope to do this year, I may not get them all done but there is no pressure on me to stick to a certain resolution but instead I can have fun with my year and achieve new goals. I have decided some of the things on my list and have written them down in my trusty notebook that I carry around in my handbag and I can add to it as the year goes on as I think of other things that I would like to do. There are not crazy over complicated things on my list but most of the things I want to do are very simple and easy to achieve. One example of this is that I want to take more photos and well now I take a lot of photos as it is but I want to take more quality photos that I can look back on and think damn that’s a good photo. Another easy thing that is on my list is that I want to spend a day hiking up a mountain. I haven’t been on a mountain hike in years and I really want to do one this year, not only will it be good for me with the exercise but the views of the surroundings will be amazing. The one that is on everyone’s list is always to loose weight or get fit and well I am no different but I want to get healthier and fitter just so that I can feel better in myself and feel that I am taking care of my body. I want to make a lifestyle change that will hopefully become just a part of my normal routine and I won’t have to make a resolution for it.

Some of the things on my List are a little bigger, such as I want to travel to Austin in May to visit my brother and his girlfriend. I have never been to America or gone on a transatlantic flight so this would be a big thing. I also want to grow this blog and also my Youtube channel and make them the best that they can be. I love writing blog posts and filming and editing videos and this year I want to put more effort into them and make them something I can be proud of when I look back on them. I also want to do more travelling around Ireland and go on adventures with my friends. There are many places in my own home country that I have never visited and I want to try visit some of them this year.

These are just a few of the things that are on my Bucket List fro 2015 so far but I’m sure I will add to it as the year goes on and if I don’t finish it this year I can carry it forward to next year. Most importantly I want to live this year to the fullest and look back on the 31st of December 2015 thinking , Yes this year was amazing!
