Messy 4 Braid Up-Do

When it comes to my hair I am always looking for new ways to do it that look cool and are simple to do. I came across this style one night when I was on a Pinterest binge (post here) and thought I just had to try it out. It is really easy to do and the finished product looks like you put a lot more effort into it then you actually did which is always a winner in my book. This look is perfect for summer as it helps to keep your hair out of your way and braids are so on trend. You could wear your hair like this to a party, a wedding, a festival or just in your everyday as it is so versatile. You could even add a hair band or some flower or  bow clips to the finished look as well to make it more unique. This was the first time I tried this look so it’s not prefect but I will definitely be trying it again.

To get the look all you have to do is split you hair into 4 sections with 2 at the front and 2 at the back. Make the 2 sections at the back bigger then the ones at the front. Plait/braid all four sections and secure them with elastics (best to have clear ones or the same colour as your hair unlike mine). Pull the braids apart to make them look messy and loose and then pin the braids behind your head. Start with the two big sections and then continue with the smaller sections. Pin it all in place and pull out any parts that you think are not messy enough and there you have it. I did a tutorial for this look on my Youtube channel here if you want to check it out.

I find that there are so many cool and interesting ways to do your hair that don’t have to be complicated. I love messy around just pinning my hair up in different ways and seeing what looks good or taking to Pinterest and Youtube to try out some of the tutorials that I see there. It really is a case of trial and error but one day you might just do something that turns out to be amazing and everyone will be asking you who did your hair.

Let me know if you have any go to hair styles that you always get complimented on and you love doing.
